The 300d is the standard daylight key for studio work: strong enough to punch through a large softbox, clean enough to mix with window light without colour correction, and quiet enough for dialogue.
Use it as your main light through a Dome, or bare with a Fresnel when the shot needs hard, directional sun. It is the fixture most setups in the hall are built around.
