The 4 ft length covers a standing subject head to toe, which makes it the better tube for fashion rim light and full-height background stripes. Pixel control lets you run gradients and effects along the tube itself.
Rig two on either side of frame for a symmetric colour edge, or lay one along the floor to graze a cyclorama with a controlled wash.
